A while ago I read this story, Au from 3x18(choke)/19 - basically, Kurt calls Carmen Tibideaux after he discovers Rachel had gotten into NYADA while he hadn't and she explains to him that he doesn't look very trustworthy because of how he changed schools, got back for Nationals, hasn't got a reference letter etc. Sue gets involved somehow... maybe he gets back on the Cheerios? And I don't think Blaine was very supportive.
