Specific arranged marriage fic

Kurt is recently widowed and returns home. There is a goverment law that you have to be married. Kurt thought he wouldn't have to as he had only been widowed for a few months. He is informed he has to marry Blaine. They first meet at the court house where lots of other people are getting married.

My googlefu is lacking, and looking through the tags hasn't helped yet so here goes:


I'm looking for a story where one of Kurt's friends (or maybe his dad) secretly copies some of Kurt's designs and uses them to apply to schools elsewhere for fashion design. When Kurt gets rejected from NYADA the friend tells him about his other option.

The second fic is also Kurt centric, he's in school in Ohio studying fashion, I think the school was Kent State?
