Specific kurt fanfic

There's a fanfiction that I read aaaaaaaagggges ago and I can't remember much of it but I really want to read it again. All I can remember is that kurt hadn't joined glee at first but then there was a bit where kurt was in the choir room and he was coming up with some music and using all the instruments. I remember that he noticed all the other Glee members staring at him and he thought it was because he sounded bad but they told him it was really good. I'm pretty sure he had a slightly different background and that's why he didn't join glee but that's all I can figure out. Soooooo if anyone knows what this is please let me know :)
