Kurt has cancer - fic

Hi,
I'm searching for a fic where kurt has cancer. I think it was leukemia. I only know, that Kurt and Burt were in the hospital and he was diagnosed. He got a catheter for easier access for his chemo.
I remember two scenes in school, the first was between Kurt and Sue, he wanted to back out from the cheerios, and explains that he can't cheer, because it's too dangerous. I think, Sue answers, that he can't back out, he just gets a one year break, than she wanted to see him again.
The second scene is between Kurt and Karofsky, he shoves him into a locker and than sees his catheter. He knows, what it is and backs off.
Does anybody know, what I'm talking about?

Hello. I've tried all week to find a specific fic and a genre of fic.

1 - The specific fic I'm looking for is one where Carmen Tibideaux (sp?) rejected Kurt b/c he doesn't NEED nyada & she sets him up w/several diff agencies that plan on letting him go out to auditions right away. Or any fice where he goes straight to auditions/Broadway instead of NYADA. ***FOUND! Link/directions in comments.

2 - I really, really don't like Rachel. She's the Gwen Cooper of Glee. However, I seem to be in the minority in this, as all my searching has only brought up fics where she and Kurt are friends (really? really?? WTF?) So I would like some stories in which she is put in her place or it is proved to her (and Shue, her enabler) that Kurt is better than her. I've read Of Fistfights and Phonecalls (Puckurt) the one where Burt finds out that a Mr. Berry (forget which) made 'the call' in Wheels.

3 - This is kind of a related request to the two above. Are there any fics that explain WHY THE HE@@ Rachel got accepted when she choked and Kurt got rejected when he was AWEsome? Maybe she used blackmail? Maybe Carmen just didn't want to hear her whining any more? Maybe Rachel told lies about Kurt being an evil person? Anything?
