Specific Sick Kurt Fic

I'm looking for what might be a scene in a longer fic.

Kurt is sick and has lost his voice. Finn is taking care of him and Blaine comes over with soup. I know that both Blaine and Finn make tease Kurt, saying he sounds like a squeezed puppy ect. I think that Finn has to call Carole about what medicine to give Kurt. And I think that Blaine brings Kurt ice cream to make up with him for poking fun.

Kurt- California Boys- Found!

Hey I'm looking for a Kurt-Centric fic wherein at the (I think) beginning of his (Kurt's) highschool career, Burt decided to move to California w/Kurt as a response to the bullying Kurt is suffering. They stay in California for a few years until one of Burt's friends/associates become ill and they have to return to Lima to help out. Burt does meet and start dating Carole, but when he tells Carole that Kurt is gay, she tells Finn and Finn outs Kurt to the entire scool causing problems. Puck becomes a good friend to Kurt (no hint of romance- I remember the author stressing its platonic nature) and actually goes with Kurt to a GSA meeting where Kurt meeting Blaine and there are clear hints of a mutual attraction. I'm pretty sure I read this fic on fanfiction.net but am having difficulty finding it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
